Hibbing Office Relocates
Barr Engineering Company is pleased to announce
the relocation of its Hibbing office from the west to the
east side of town. As of August 6, Barr’s new address
will be 3128 14th Avenue East, Hibbing, MN 55746. The
company’s new main telephone number is 218-262-8600;
the fax and 800 numbers will remain the same.
The new location, formerly Hibbing Community
College’s South campus, has been remodeled using Leadership
in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) rating system
“green” guidelines for indoor air quality, site
selection, water efficiency, energy consumption, and building
materials. The result is a more energy efficient and environmentally
friendly facility.
Mike Shoberg, a Barr vice president and
Hibbing’s branch office coordinator, says “We are
very excited about this move and eager to continue meeting
our clients’ needs from this new location.”
Barr Engineering Company is a 400-person
company headquartered in Minneapolis, with more than 60 people
in the Hibbing office. The company also has branch offices
in Duluth; Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Jefferson City, Missouri.
