Risk Management Plans—Updates Due

April 13, 2004

Is your facility one of the thousands subject to the EPA’s Chemical Accident Prevention Rule? This requires facilities to develop a risk management program and to submit a risk management plan (RMP) describing that program.

On April 9, 2004, the EPA made revisions to the rule that affect your next RMP pdate—which may be due as soon as June 21, 2004. This page provides the latest resources on EPA rules and guidance for the five-year RMP update due in 2004.

Other important tips for submitting an RMP can be found at http://yosemite.epa.gov/oswer/ceppoweb.nsf/content/index.html.

Find out how Barr can assist you with RMPs and security vulnerability analyses.
