Brent Theroux

Brent has over 25 years of experience in geotechnical evaluation and analysis; the development of detailed geotechnical investigation and instrumentation programs; the preparation of geotechnical reports, designs, and construction plans and specifications; and the management of geotechnical and civil projects. His design work includes slope stability, seepage, settlement, shallow/deep foundation capacity, ground improvement, earth retention, reinforced earth, drainage filter design, dewatering, landslide back-analysis, pavement support, rock excavation, and rock fall catchment. His investigation work includes soil and rock classifications, standard penetration testing, cone penetration testing, ground-penetrating radar, electric resistivity, field vane shear, hand auger, and other methods. Brent has over 10 years of experience with alternative project delivery, serving in lead design roles for both owners and contractors and providing lead design and construction oversight on behalf of owners.
