Mehgan has nearly 15 years of experience with the design of baseline geologic, hydrogeologic, geotechnical, and geochemical characterization studies for mine and wastewater permitting. Her project work includes characterizing the mineralogical, geochemical, and geotechnical properties of proposed mine-site overburden, waste rock, and tailings. Mehgan manages multidisciplinary projects and has also designed sampling and analysis plans, developed soil and water management plans for mine planning and brownfield redevelopment projects, and modeled the potential impacts to surface and groundwater quality.
