Paul has more than five decades of experience as an electrical engineer. He has worked on the design and evaluation of power generation and distribution systems, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, substations, utility interconnections, and coordination, control, and SCADA systems. His projects involve analysis, design, and construction-phase services for materials handling, generation, switchgear, motor control center, and standby power systems. Before joining Barr in 2007, Paul served as co-founder and president of Kaeding and Associates, a Minneapolis-based electrical engineering firm.
