Scott Sobiech

Scott has over two decades of experience, specializing in flood protection, civil design, flood insurance studies, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, water quality, and watershed management. He works on complex floodplain and levee projects requiring U.S. Army Corps of Engineer approval and coordination, FEMA accreditation, and coordination with diverse stakeholders including local, state, and federal agencies and governments, area residents, interest groups, and businesses. A certified floodplain manager, he is knowledgeable about FEMA flood-hazard mapping policies, guidelines, and specifications. Scott also serves watershed management organizations and municipal clients with watershed and water resource planning and engineering; watershed and lake water quality modeling, analyses, and treatment; stormwater BMP design and performance assessment; engineering feasibility studies; construction management; and permitting.
