Ward has 30 years of experience with environmental analytical chemistry, data quality assurance, and quality control. He helps industry and regulatory authorities solve complex analytical issues related to environmental preservation and restoration. He is a nationally recognized expert on laboratory regulations, analytical methodology, and internal-database quality. Ward often coordinates with laboratories to implement specialty analyses for unique site conditions. His areas of expertise include geochemical analysis, hydrocarbon fingerprinting, low-level mercury analysis, dioxin and furan analysis, and emerging chemicals of environmental concern such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and 1,4-dioxane.
