For more than 30 years, Aaron has provided engineering services related to the design of embankments, earth dams and retention structures, shallow and deep foundations, and slope‑stabilization measures, as well as the design and operation of mine‑tailings storage facilities.  

Aaron holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering, with emphases in geotechnical and structural engineering, from Michigan Technological University. He is a professional engineer in multiple U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions and a Board‑Certified Geotechnical Engineer through ASCE. He was elected to Barr’s Board of Directors in 2022 and again in 2024.
