Alex, who joined Barr in 2024, has a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Michigan and a research background in probabilistic environmental modeling. His work at Barr includes hydrologic assessment, risk and uncertainty analysis, and one- and two-dimensional hydraulic modeling. Alex uses these tools to evaluate dams, mining, and stream restoration projects. In addition, he specializes in interpreting complex datasets and developing methods to communicate this information effectively.
