Bryan has more than 15 years of experience in hydraulic engineering, applied research, and project delivery. His work focuses on solving complex hydraulic challenges involving dams, spillways, fish passage, sediment transport, and other water infrastructure. Drawing on experience with more than 100 dams and hydraulic structures, Bryan combines physical and computational modeling with practical design to develop solutions tailored to each site. His recent low-head-dam work includes evaluating rock ramps, riffles, and other alternatives designed to address hydraulic hazards while considering water use, recreation, fish passage, and broader river-system needs.
