Kate joined Barr after receiving her master’s degree in biology (with an aquatic science focus) and specializes in sediment coring, phosphorus fractionation, water chemistry, and the identification of aquatic plants. At Barr, she focuses on water quality analysis, stormwater management, watershed planning, and natural resources management. Kate’s work includes field monitoring and sampling of water quality, hydrologic and water quality analysis, aquatic ecology and plant management, total maximum daily load (TMDL) and watershed restoration and protection strategies (WRAPS) reports, and public and agency engagement.
