Kim has more than three decades of experience as an environmental, health, and safety (EHS) professional and serves as a principal and senior technical resource on air permitting and compliance projects. Her air permitting experience includes development of air permit applications for Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) and Title V major sources along with numerous minor sources in the power, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. She has conducted multimedia environmental compliance audits at facilities in the pharmaceutical, power and manufacturing sectors. Her experience also includes developing and managing environmental programs for air, water and waste and negotiating with regulatory agencies.
Before joining Barr, Kim was the Environmental Associate Director for a major research campus at a pharmaceutical company with compliance responsibility for all environ-mental programs including CAA, RCRA, NPDES, EPCRA and SPCC along with maintenance of ISO 14001 certification and provided air compliance expertise as an internal auditor for other sites.
