Matthew Landt

Matthew is a Registered Professional Archaeologist with 30 years of experience in the western United States. Bringing deep expertise in cultural resource management and historic preservation, he leads archaeological and cultural resources aspects of projects ranging from large, multijurisdictional infrastructure development to grassroots preservation. Matthew has authored over 100 technical manuscripts addressing Section 106 and NEPA requirements, including National Register evaluations, contributions to Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), and treatment plans for Historic Properties. He is a trusted advisor to clients and agencies navigating the intersection of federal, state, and tribal preservation guidelines with North American human history.
