Reese has experience in data analysis, technical writing, and environmental fieldwork, and is skilled in managing and interpreting environmental data, as well as presenting findings to diverse audiences. His research has included studying the effects of floodplain restoration on beaver habitat, in which he conducted a comparative study highlighting the restored habitat. This work included analyzing and processing both GPS and observational data, compiling the filings into a scientific paper, and presenting the research to the State of Washington’s governor at the STEM Education Innovation Alliance.
