Profile Picture

Nick Petrich has nearly five years of experience assisting clients with air quality compliance and permitting in petroleum refining, ethanol production, gasoline distribution terminals, and industrial laundry. At Barr, he conducts federal and state construction permit analyses, prepares permit modification applications, and develops emission calculations. Nick works on site at client facilities to evaluate compliance with Title V air permits including developing compliance tools, working with continuous-emission-monitoring-systems data, conducting performance and certification testing, and completing emissions inventories. He also has experience with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permits and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act. In continuation of his graduate research related to passive air sampling, Nick is evaluating the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed rule that would require fenceline monitoring for fugitive emissions at refineries.
