William Davidson

Senior Geoscientist

William Davidson has three decades of experience with projects involving environmental investigation and consulting. His project work involves hydrogeologic investigations; brownfield redevelopment; design, installation, and operation of remedial and exposure control systems; and area-wide assessments of environmental contamination in Michigan.

William has designed and conducted hydrogeological investigations and formulated the basis of remedial designs for many industrial, governmental, and municipal clients under a variety of regulatory controls, including RCRA and CERCLA as well as Part 201 (environmental response), Part 213 (leaking underground storage tanks), Part 111 (hazardous waste), and Part 115 (solid waste) of the Michigan Environmental Response Act.

In addition, William has experience in the design, installation, and operation of many remedial systems; development of strategies to facilitate reuse of former urban industrial areas; and negotiation with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients. Prior to joining Barr, William served as senior project geologist and project manager for Horizon Environmental Corporation.
