Barr names five new officers

Barr’s board of directors has named five new vice presidents, who are also principals of the firm. They are:

Erik Boleman, a senior chemical engineer in Barr’s Duluth office who has 28 years of experience working primarily on air-emissions projects to help refining, mining, power, and forest-product clients with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.

Jed Greenwood, PE, a senior geotechnical engineer in Minneapolis who has 14 years of experience on projects involving the investigation of landslides and the design of dams, flood-protection levees, and stabilization of natural and constructed slopes.

Rob Morrison, PE, a senior water resources engineer in Jefferson City who has 28 years of experience working on projects related to water permitting, water quality science, total maximum daily load (TMDL) studies, and compliance assistance.

Brian Tri, PE, a senior civil and structural engineer in Minneapolis who has 12 years of experience working on projects involving the design, inspection, and rehabilitation of concrete, steel, and timber structures.

Richard Ver Strate, PE, a senior civil engineer in Minneapolis who has 16 years of experience working on projects involving the design, inspection, and evaluation of concrete and earthen dams, spillways, and tailings impoundments.
