Barr's Andrea Collier, Jeff Bennett, Rick Campbell, and Rob Morrison to present at MECC

April 8, 2018

Several people from Barr’s Jefferson City office will be presenting at the Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference (MECC) in Kansas City, MO, on April 11-12. Barr is also a sponsor for this fifth annual regional environmental conference.

On Wednesday afternoon, Andrea Collier will be part of a panel discussion for local government and higher education that will address issues such as emerging contaminants, financial considerations, and water supply restoration. That afternoon, Jeff Bennett will present a case study on “Modeled Emission Rates for Precursors (MERPs) and Ozone SILS” in a session on technology and policy updates.

On Thursday morning, Rick Campbell will take part in the regional air panel discussion on “Operating in a New and Uncertain Regulatory Climate,” which will look at how changes at the US EPA and in Region 7 will affect all four states as well topics such as ozone issues, an SSM update, new litigation related to NSR and interstate transport, and air permitting. Also on Thursday morning, Rob Morrison will participate in the regional water issues panel discussion, which will provide a regional update on water quality standards, nutrients, groundwater issues, and implications for remediation.

If you’re at the conference, please stop by Barr’s booth to talk with the presenters and others from Barr who will be attending.
