With more than 30 years of nationwide experience in environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, laboratory management, and auditing, Sharon offers Barr’s clients extensive insights into and guidance on multimedia compliance audits. She has audited a wide variety of facilities for compliance with federal and state-specific stormwater requirements, individual NPDES permits, and federal regulations governing drinking water; hazardous and universal waste; EPCRA sections 311, 312, and 313; and laboratory methodologies.
Sharon is well-versed in the requirements of the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, including waste regulations for facilities permitted under RCRA Part B. She has extensive experience with management-of-change processes and has worked with numerous companies to resolve notices of violations and other enforcement-related actions. She holds certifications for hazardous waste RCRA and DOT requirements and is certified as an ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 lead auditor.
