Bismarck has been welcoming visitors and newcomers since 1804, when Lewis and Clark paddled up the Missouri River. History buffs will still find much to enjoy here, while adventurous foodies can head to one of the capital city’s eclectic restaurants. Bismarck also hosts the annual United Tribes Technical College International Powwow, one of North Dakota’s premier cultural events.
