Multiple Barr staff members to present at 4C Conference

Barr is excited to exhibit and present and this year’s 4C conference, happening August 18-20, 2021. The 4C Conference promotes the latest emissions reduction technologies and best management practices to drive better environmental outcomes.

On Wednesday, August 18 Al Reich, Tony Shoberg, and Corey Mead will present “Liquid Fuels Terminals – Basics of Environmental Permitting and Compliance.” This course provides environmental professionals or terminal operators a basic understanding of the main environmental compliance programs applicable to fuels terminals.

Then, Melissa Sacviv and Greg Patten will present “Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Information Technology Solutions.” This presentation lays out a practical process for going beyond baseline compliance by developing a straightforward yet high-functioning environmental management system, including a review of types of environmental management information systems (EMIS) that may serve as the backbone of the EMS.

Also on Wednesday, Al Reich and Tony Shoberg will present “Tanks Essentials/Storage Tank Air Compliance – Beyond the Basics.” This course has a second offering Friday, August 20.

Lastly, on Wednesday and Thursday, Nick Palatiello will present“Approaching PFAS: Evaluating your risk while debating ‘to collect or not collect data.’”
