Barr staff to present at Transportation Connects Alberta
Two Barr staff members are scheduled to present at Consulting Engineers of Alberta’s Transportation Connects Alberta conference taking place May 1–3 in Red Deer, Alberta. Stop by booth 39 to get to know Barr, learn about our conference involvement, and connect with attendees.
On May 2 at 11:00 a.m., Chris Lenhart will present “Culvert Design for Aquatic Organism Passage: Benefits and Challenges.” This session will focus on the general principles of aquatic organism passage (AOP), the opportunities and potential benefits of AOP, and relevant AOP case studies.
Then, also on May 2 at 3:30 p.m., Joeyln Kozar will present “Constructed Wetlands as Wetland Replacement.” Joeyln will highlight Alberta’s wetland policy, detail stormwater wetland examples from Minnesota, and share takeaways to apply to Alberta’s policy.
