Adele Braun

Adéle has nearly 15 years of project management and structural engineering experience, specializing in the design and construction of large, multi-phased, flood-control projects. Adéle's career began with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, where she was involved with civil works projects, inspections of concrete and steel structures, and value engineering facilitation. At Barr, Adéle has worked primarily on flood-control and hydropower projects. Her recent project work includes automation for dam gate control, flood-risk reduction, ring-levee flood protection, and hydropower facility evaluation and due diligence. As a value engineering facilitator, she incorporates value methodology into the design process, which provides a cost-savings benefit without reducing functionality.
