Dr. Robert Berry has more than 30 years of experience as a geochemist, hydrogeologist, and groundwater hydrologist dealing with the environmental aspects of mining and both metals and hydrocarbon transport in groundwater. In addition, he has 15 years of experience in mineral exploration for base and precious metals. His expertise includes aqueous geochemistry and geochemical modeling in addressing acid-rock drainage, pit lake geochemistry, waste rock geochemistry, and the geochemistry of metals and radionuclides in surface and groundwater.
Robert also has experience with the hydrogeological evaluation of groundwater basins, water supply evaluation, aquifer testing and evaluation, open-pit and underground mine hydrology, and groundwater flow and transport modeling for aquifers contaminated with fuel hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, metals, and radionuclides. As a groundwater hydrologist, he has experience in modeling entire basins, mine hydrology, and water supply evaluations. Robert also has 15 years of experience in drafting the water resource, geology, and geochemistry sections of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS).
