Nathan, who has 15 years of experience, works at the crossroads of air pollution control and data science. In addition to assisting clients with identifying, scoping, and managing environmental review, permitting, and compliance projects, he interacts extensively with environmental management information systems, creating dashboards and reports and developing integrations with other data sources.
Before joining Barr, Nathan spent more than 12 years at the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, where he handled air permitting and modeling, compliance assistance, and emissions inventory calculations. For most of that time he also supervised the agency’s data management unit, overseeing several initiatives that improved the DNR’s approach to data quality and management. He worked directly with companies in a range of industries to help them better understand their regulatory requirements and make reporting more accurate and efficient.
