Scott has more than 25 years of academic and consulting experience with environmental and geological engineering. Prior to joining Barr, he served as a professor of geological engineering at the University of North Dakota. Through his research and projects, Scott has worked with North Dakota regulators and industries on hydrogeology and water-quality issues. His project work at Barr has involved site remediation of brine and other contaminant spills, water supply and management, permitting assistance for saltwater disposal wells, and groundwater monitoring systems and geologic storage alternatives for the fuel and power industries.
