Steve Klein

Steve Klein

Steve has more than four decades of experience in water resources management, stormwater management, and hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for municipalities, counties, and watershed districts. He has served as the lead or support engineer for more than a dozen watershed management organizations in Minnesota and South Dakota. In these roles, his work has involved rural and urban water resources planning, watershed planning, hazardous waste cleanup, erosion control, water quality enhancement, wetland mitigation, park development, and facilitation of public meetings. An expert in flood control and mitigation, Steve has extensive experience designing dikes, levees, and other control structures. He has also served as a technical expert and forensic advisor on litigation matters involving water resources, flooding, infrastructure failures, construction practices, wet basements, and foundation problems.
