Fred Rozumalski has more than 20 years of experience in landscape architecture, ecology, horticulture, and native-landscape design and restoration. His projects are designed to work with nature to create economically viable, low-maintenance landscapes that support a diversity of plants and animals while meeting the needs of the people who inhabit them. Fred, who frequently lectures on ecologically sound landscape design, has created sustainable landscapes for schools, municipal sites, residential developments, and business parks, and has designed several demonstration projects for state and local governmental agencies. His designs for alternative stormwater-management systems incorporate best management practices such as rainwater gardens, pervious pavement, and underground storage.
